PURPOSE:To improve a driving feeling by constituting a device inhibiting an output of shift up command signal when acceleration of a vehicle, judged in an acceleration judging means, is in not more than a predetermined value stored in an acceleration preset value memory means. CONSTITUTION:A device provides an acceleration judging means 3 judging acceleration of a vehicle, acceleration preset value memory means 4 storing predetermined acceleration preset in accordance with a gear position and an accelerator opening and a shift up inhibiting means 5 inhibiting an output of shift up command signal from a shift up command means 2 when the acceleration of the vehicle, judged in the acceleration judging means 3, is in not more than the predetermined value stored in the acceleration preset value memory means 4. By the constitution thus obtained, the shift up inhibiting means 5 inhibits the output of the shift up command signal from the shift up command means 2 when the acceleration of the vehicle, judged in the acceleration judging means 3, is in not more than the predetermined value stored in the acceleration preset value memory means 4. |
