PURPOSE:To obtain a solid form generating device which efficiently expresses a sweep as the patch model of a secondary curved surface by using a computing element which generates the data of the secondary curved surface for basic solid form data generation. CONSTITUTION:Cross section original data 5 are interpolated by a curve interpolator 1, converted into interpolated data 5', and converted into a cylindrical data 7 by a cylindrical data generator 2. The data 7 are formed of the aggregation of (n) set matrix data to sweep a closed curve in the direction of an axis. On the other hand, sweep form original data 6 are interpolated by an interpolator 1', and converted into interpolated data 6'. The data 6' are formed of the aggregation of (m) matrixes. Next the data 6' are inputted to a converted matrix generator 3, converted matrix data 7' are generated, and by multiplying the data 7 by the data 7' by means of a matrix multiplier 4, output data 8 are generated. Thus the sweep form data can be efficiently expressed. |
