PURPOSE:To produce the ceramics without generating discoloration and deterioration in performance by sealing ceramics raw materials into a hermetic vessel in the copresence of an oxide which generates oxygen at a sintering temp. and subjecting the materials to heating and pressurizing by a hot hydrostatic pressurization method. CONSTITUTION:The ceramics raw materials or the sintered body thereof is sealed into the hermetic vessel and is heated and pressurized by the hot isostatic pressurization method to effect sintering. The sintering is executed by allowing the oxide which generates the oxygen at the sintering temp. of CrO3, etc., to coexist in addition to the above-mentioned ceramics raw materials or the sintered body thereof in the hermetic vessel at this time. A partition plate made of a wire net is disposed in this vessel to separate the ceramic materials, etc., and the oxide so that the generated oxygen can move in the vessel. The deficiency of the oxygen in the vessel is prevented by the generated oxygen and the discoloration and the deterioration in the performance by the lack of the oxygen in the ceramics raw materials and the sintered body are prevented; in addition, the residual pores are removed under a high oxygen pressure. |
