RENEWAL METHOD FOR LAID PIPE TUNNEL

PURPOSE:To prevent in advance the causing of a ground collapse due to the ingress of underground water and sediments into an internal space and a drilling machine by applying pressure to a space between a plug for closing the internal space and the front area of the drilling machine. CONSTITUTION:A sludge disposal device 3 and a pump 12 are provided on the ground. One end of a sludge discharge hose 10 is connected to the pump 12 via a hose reel 14 and the other end of the hose 10 in an existing pipe tunnel 1 is positioned in front of a drilling machine 11. Also, a sludge transfer pump 21 is installed on the ground for the supply of sludge to a shaft 6 via a sludge pipe 22, until a sludge level becomes equal to or above an underground water level (or normally 2 meters plus underground water level), thereby applying fluid pressure to the inside of the pipe tunnel 1 and the neighborhood thereof for stabilizing a foundation (ground).
