PURPOSE:To produce an alloy excellent in iso-permeability characteristic by preparing an alloy which consists of specific percentages of Fe, Co, Cu, Si, B, Nb, V, and C and in which crystalline grains, magnetostriction, and the thickness of surface oxide layer are specified, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The above alloy is an Fe-base magnetic alloy which has a composition represented by a general formula (Fe1-aMa)100-x-y-z-alpha-beta-gammaCuxSiyMzM 'alphaM''betaXgamma (atomic%) and also has positive magnetostriction and in which uniformly dispersed fine crystalline grains comprise at least 50% of the structure and the average value of grain sizes measured by the maximum sizes of the crystalline grains of respective components is regulated to <=100Angstrom , and further, the thickness of an oxide layer formed on the alloy surface is regulated to >=50Angstrom . Moreover, in the above formula, M means Co and Ni, M' means Nb, W, Ta, etc., M'' means V, Cr, Mn, etc., X means C, Ge, P, etc., the symbols (a), (x), (y), and (z) stand for 0-0.3, 0-3, 0-25, and 3-15, respectively, 5<=y+z<=30, and the symbols (alpha), (beta), and (gamma) stand for 0.1-30, 0-10, and 0-20, respectively. By this method, the alloy which consists of hyperfine crystalline grains minimal in the variance of magnetic permeability and in which the necessity of magnetic- field impression is obviated can be obtained. |
