PURPOSE:To prevent dry-out for improving the heat exchange efficiency by a method wherein an outer tube, in which an inner tube is inserted, is installed in a high temperature fluid at a certain angle so that an enough working fluid depth is maintained allowing the working fluid sealed inside to bump and an adequate height of heat pipe is kept allowing the working fluid to reach up to the top inside a heat pipe. CONSTITUTION:A double tube heat pipe 11 has such a construction that an inner tube 11b through which a low temperature fluid B flows is nearly concentrically inserted into an outer tube 11a, and a working fluid 12 is sealed in a space between the outer and inner tubes. The heat pipe 11 is installed and immersed in a path of a high temperature fluid A at a tilting angle of 2-5 deg. against the horizon, for instance. Therefore, the working fluid 12 in the heat pipe 11 comes in contact with the inside circumferential surface of the outer tube 11a, as an evaporator part, that is heated to a high temperature by the heat of the high temperature fluid A, and bumps generating a large amount of vapor abruptly, that causes the working fluid to be blown up by blow-up of the vapor. As a result, the splash 12a of the working fluid is efficiently distributed all over the inside circumferential surface of the outer tube 11a as the evaporator part of the heat pipe 11 together with the vapor. |
