PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of the adjusting work of a valve gap by inserting from above a lock arm a pivot-rotating tool for rotating the pivot. CONSTITUTION:A nut-rotating tool 15 is fitted to a lock nut 5. A rotating tool 14 of a pivot 1 is supported on a guide part 15c of this tool 15 to be easily slided, and a pivot-rotating tool 14 is inserted into a penetration hole 6a of a lock arm 6 from above to be fitted into an adjusting hole 2a of the pivot 1. A lock nut 5 is adjusted by the nut-rotating tool 15 to go up and down on a cylinder head 4, and the height of the pivot 1 is adjusted by the pivot-rotating tool 14 as well. |
