Hospital bed with side bars - are held in vertical grooves in head and foot frames of bed
摘要
A hospital bed has an upper (13) and a lower bar (14) on each side extending from the bedhead to the bed foot. Each bar has two bolts (23, 35) extending horizontally from each end. The heads of these bolts engage vertical grooves (20) in the head and foot frames of the bed. The upper bar (13) is normally held in place by the upper end of a leaf spring (22) which can be pressed inwards by an attached knob (19) to engage the neck of the upper bolt (23). The lower bar (14) is supported by a long wire loop (28) which fits in the groove (20) and passes around the neck of the upper bolt of the upper bar (13) and around the neck of the lower bolt of the lower bar. USE - Hospital bed.
