For achieving a consistently good printing quality, it is of great importance that the control of the quantity of dampening liquid on the printing plate takes place very rapidly without this causing instabilities. Furthermore, the control should be capable of keeping the quantity of dampening liquid constant even under the influence of severe disturbing factors. To achieve the requirements set, the following method of controlling the quantity of dampening liquid on the printing plate is proposed: In the case of control deviations (Xd), in which the intended value (Sw soll) is greater than the actual value (Sw ist), the controller 24 is operated with a greater increase factor (KR) than in the case of control deviations (XD) in which the intended value (Sw soll) is smaller than the actual value (Sw ist). <IMAGE> |
