摘要 PURPOSE:To enable enough disinfection without using expensive chemicals by connecting a discharge port of an aqueous ozone production apparatus to a disinfectant liquid inlet part of a disinfection vessel. CONSTITUTION:A reel 3, around which a thin cordlike endoscope 2 is coiled, is set within a disinfection vessel 1 equipped with a lid 1a, and nozzles 4 for disinfectant liquid are arranged opposite to the endoscope 2 at upper part 3a and lower part 3b of the reel 3 respectively. These nozzles are communicated with disinfectant liquid paths 3c, which are formed within the reel 3. The paths 3c are connected with an aqueous ozone outlet 16 of an aqueous ozone production apparatus by an aqueous ozone discharge pipe 12, a disinfectant liquid supply pipe 25 and a defoamation apparatus 21, the latter two of which compose a disinfectant liquid inlet part for the nozzles 4. The aqueous ozone generation apparatus is operated in a mode of making water absorb ozone gas generated by an electric discharge between a couple of electrodes. If only an electric source and water are available, it is possible, by using the aforementioned construction, to obtain aqueous ozone and to carry out disinfection more cheaply and easily as compared with a case of using a specified disinfectant liquid.
