PURPOSE:To protect a radar from an Anti-Radiation Missile (ARM) while detecting a target, by using a decoy member synchronized with the radar, directional decoy antenna, etc. CONSTITUTION:Upon detecting an ARM with antenna 1, receiving member 5, a controlling member 14 of decoy device 10 for radar is controlled through a signal processing apparatus 6 and a directional antenna 13 is directed to the ARM. At the same time, by a reference signal generator 7 and from a signal sending member 12 in synchronization with a signal sending member 4 of the radar, signal sending pulses the levels of which being lower than signal sending pulses and higher than the side lobe are issued and a reflected wave by them is received by the radar for controlling the direction of the antenna 13. On the other hand, the signal sending member 12 is, with exception of pulse sending time, continues the pulse sending through the signal sending member 4. By these arrangements, the rader can be protected from the ARM by guiding it in the direcection of the antenna 13 while detecting a target. |
