Restoring alkali waste tips - by covering with binding agent contg. calcium sulphate pref. as porous granules

Process for restoring alkali waste tips comprises covering the whole tip with a thin layer of one or more binding agents contg. CaSO4 (at least 50 wt.%) as the main active component, e.g., in the form of fine porous granules, etc. USE - The process is simple and inexpensive, as CaSO4 is a waste prod. from several chemical industries; and the ground recovers within a few years to support the growth of grasses, mosses, fungi, birch trees, etc.
