Control device for a safety valve

In order to control a safety valve (4), working on the pressure-relief principle, of a pressure vessel (17) in a safe and controlled fashion, provision is made for a control device in which the pressure vessel (17) is connected via a measuring line (16) to the piston space (15) of a piston (14). The piston (14), which is movable in the piston space (15) by the prevailing pressure, acts on a valve plate (9) which is spring-loaded in a valve space (2a) on an opening (11) provided with a valve seat (8). The control space (3) of the safety valve (4) is connected to the valve space (2a) via a control line (2). The opening (11) is adjoined by the blow-out line (5). At a preset pressure in the pressure vessel (17), the piston (14) opens the opening (11) closed by the valve plate (9), and the control space (3) of the safety valve (4) is relieved of pressure via the control line (2) and the blow-out line (5). The safety valve (4) opens and the pressure in the pressure vessel (17) is thereby lowered. <IMAGE>
