PURPOSE:To obtain a high density information recording carrier suitable for mass production, which has a simple structure and can be produced in simple process by depositing several reflecting layers each having different wavelength range of reflection with interposing transparent layers. CONSTITUTION:Plural numbers of reflecting layers 12, 15 each having different wavelength range of reflection are deposited with a transparent layer 14 interposed. The reflecting layers 12, 15 are composed of different materials to make the wavelength range of light reflection different from each other. Also transmittance of light in each layer is made different by controlling the thickness of the layers 12, 15. By assigning the proper wavelength of light to be reflected for each layer, several layers of reflecting layers and transparent layers can be deposited, which increases the recording density. |
