FAN MOTOR OF AUTOMOBILE BLOWER

摘要

PURPOSE:To raise the air quantity of an automobile blower and to conserve power by fitting inside a casing a pulse modulator for making the voltage of a fan motor variable through varying a pulse duration. CONSTITUTION:Two end brackets 3a, 3b of a casing 3 are provided with cooling air ports 9, 9 for cooling component parts provided in the casing. On the other hand, the shaft 2 of a fan motor is provided with a fan 1 and an intake unit 17 is fitted with the fan motor. Also, the back of a brush base 8 provided with a brush 6 is fitted with a pulse-duration modulator 10 for changing the mean voltage of a current supplied to the brush 6 through varying a pulse duration. Because the pulse-duration modulator can be applied to the control of the number of revolutions of the fan motor of an automobile air conditioner in this manner, it is possible to contrive to raise the air quantity of an automobile blower and to conserve power while preventing a radio noise.
