PURPOSE:To reduce the neck diameter and to facilitate the voltage control by forming a supporting structure with a resistor and an insulated supporting member then employing said resistor for voltage division thereby eliminating an independent resistor. CONSTITUTION:Each electrode is supported by a supporting structure comprised of a resistor 3a and an insulated supporting member 31 and a supporting structure 2 comprised of a resistor 2a and an insulated supporter 21. The high voltage applied, for example, on the 6th grid 10 is distributed through a resistor R1 in a resistor 3a to the 5th grid 9, but since the 5th grid 9 and the 3rd grid 7 are connected thrugh a lead 13 same voltage is applied then distributed from the 5th grid 9 and the 3rd grid 7 through a resistor R2 in same resistor 3a to the 4th grid 8. Then it is divided into two at the 4th grid 8 where one is grounded through an external resistor 16 while the other is distributed through resistors R3, R4 in a resistor 2a to the 2nd grid 6 and the 1st grid 5 is grounded. |
