PURPOSE:To control a delay time with high accuracy and to enable IC- implementation by providing two time scales in a period wherein the delay time needs to be set by using two clock pulses which differ in frequency. CONSTITUTION:A 1st clock pulse generating means 10 and a 2nd clock pulse generating means 20 generate 1st and 2nd clock pulses regarding the frequencies of 1st and 2nd sweeping speeds so as to provide the 1st time scale for sectioning a 1st sweep period into plural parts and a 2nd time scale for fractionizing the 1st time scale respectively. Then a delay time setting means 30 sets a delay time counted value obtained by converting a specific delay time into the 1st and 2nd time scales. Then a delay time counting means 40 uses the 1st and 2nd clock pulses to count a number of clock pulses corresponding to the delay time counted value from the start of the 1st sweep period by using the 1st and 2nd clock pulses to generate a 2nd sweep period start signal at the end of the counting. |
