PURPOSE:To obtain the composition showing the even temp. characteristics of capacity in the wide temp. range by incorporating Nb2O5, Co2O3 and at least one of Nd2O3 and SiO2 to porcelain composition wherein content of alkali impurities is regulated to specified value or below and Ba-Pb-based titanate is contained as a main component. CONSTITUTION:Dielectric porcelain composition having high permittivity is obtained by incorporating A) main component: 100 pts.wt. dielectric porcelain composition shown in (Ba1-xPbx)yTiO3 (x=0.01-0.04, y=0.98-1.02) and B) accessory constituent: the respective components of 1.0-2.5 pts. Nb2O5, 0.1-0.8 pts. Co2O3 and 0.05-1.0 pts. at least one of Nb2O3 and SiO2 and >=0.04wt.% alkali metallic oxide as the impurities. When the temp. characteristics of capacity are decided at 25 deg.C as reference, + or -15% thereof is obtained in a range within -55 to +150 deg.C. This porcelain composition is utilized in an engine room, etc., of an automobile. |
