A variation component of a carrier angular frequency from a reference angular frequency signal which the carrier chrominace signal has by an APC circuit. Two reference angular frequency signals, the angular frequency difference signal and other similar signals which give necessary performance as a chrominance signal processing circuit are added or subtracted in the states of the angular frequency and phase signals (25). A phase amplitude converter(30) obtains a frequency converting signal by converting the obtained phase signal to an amplitude signal. The first angular frequency difference signal is obtained by comparing the phase of a burst signal in the carrier chrominance signal with that of the phase comparison signal.
