ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TYPE IMAGE FORMING STATION AND IMAGE FORMATION

PURPOSE: To form an information array pattern with high resolution on a photosensitive medium by forming the information array pattern with high resolution on the surface of the photosensitive medium having first and second shafts crossing at a right angle each other. CONSTITUTION: An optical lens 41 is interposed between a light source 10 and the photosensitive medium 14, the respective light energy beams of a diode 18 are focused to nearly rectangular light energy beams 42, and the respective beams 42 form a column 44 constituted of a nearly rectangular dot 43 on the surface 22 of the medium 14. The column 44 is positioned along an axis in parallel with the first axis 45 of medium 14. A photosensitive paper driving means 46 moves the medium 14 in a direction crossing at a right angle with the axis 45 with respect to the light source 10. The means 46 drives the photosensitive paper 14 at a nearly specified linear velocity so as to pass the light source 10, and to make the consecutive columns 44 of the dot 43 brought into close contact each other. Thus, the information array pattern with the high resolution can be formed on the surface of a light receiving body.
