COMMUNICATION BRIDGE SUITABLE FOR USE IN CONJUNCTION WITH UIC-COMPATIBLE COMMUNICATION DEVICES CAPABLE OF WITHSTANDING PRESSURE WAVES

A connecting platform is described which is intended particularly for passageways connecting passenger-train carriages. It is hinged and has a floor (9) with an operating device (10). The floor (9) can be displaced in guideways (23,23') under the action of spring means (24) in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the carriage. Sealing means (4) are provided to prevent pressure waves from penetrating into the passageway joining two carriages. A connecting platform of this kind is simple to operate, and safe and agreeable for the user, who is protected in particular from any slipstream effects.
