PURPOSE:To improve color forming properties and stability of a color image by holding an electron donative colorless dye and an oxime ester derivative on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:An electron donative colorless dye and an oxime ester derivative are held on a substrate. As the electron donative colorless dye, various types of compounds are exemplified: for example, a triphenylmethane phthalide compound, a fluorane compound, a phenothiazine compound, an indolyl phthalide compound, a leuco auramine compound, a rhodamine lactam compound, a triphenylmethane compound, a triazene compound, a spiropyrane compound, and a fluorene compound. The oxime ester can be synthesized by the reaction of an oxime derived from aldehyde or ketone with corresponding carboxylic acid, sulfonic acid, or a halide of these acids. The oxime ester preferably has the order of 80 or less carbon atoms and a melting point of 220 deg.C or lower. |
