A device for automatic loading and unloading of the mould fittings of a daylight press is described, which has a heating/pressing station (CH) and a cooling/pressing station (FR) as well as an input conveyor and an output conveyor. A plurality of transport plates for the mouldings are provided, a unit consisting of a transport plate with a stack of the mouldings forming one mould fitting (0), and the transport plates being provided with means (8, 8', 12) for transporting, guiding and positioning. On each press stack, a transport device (5), a positioning device (7, 7', 8, 8') for the mould fittings and guide means (13, 14) for guiding the mould fittings in the interior of the press are provided. <IMAGE>
