PURPOSE:To reduce the rewriting frequency of a storage device due to the alteration of constitution information by transferring the constitution information stored in the non-volatile storage part of a monitoring device to an objective device at the time of the initialization of system, and executing the initialization by rewriting only the discordant part of the non- volatile storage part when comparison with the constitution information in its own device results in discordance. CONSTITUTION:The constitution information of the objective device 1 is updated under the control of the monitoring device 2, and that information is stored in the non-volatile storage part 21 in the monitoring device 2. At the time of initialization processing of the objective device 1, the monitoring device 2 transfers the constitution information to the objective device 1, and the objective device 1 checks whether the transferred constitution information coincides with the constitution information stored in the non-volatile storage part 11 of its own device 1 or not by comparison. If not coincides, only the discordant part is stored in the non-volatile storage part 11 of the objective device 1, and the objective device 1 is initialized based on the constitution information existing in the non-volatile storage part 11. Thus, it is unnecessary to transfer the constitution information from the monitoring device even for the reset of the objective device due to a fault, etc., and besides, the rewriting frequency of the non-volatile storage part can be reduced, and the life of the device can be lengthened.
