PURPOSE:To ensure the easy input of data related to dimmer control and improve operational quality by continuously controlling dimmer operation on the basis of a permission signal from a permission signal generation means depending upon the progress condition of a fade operation available from a fade arithmetic means. CONSTITUTION:Fade arithmetic circuits FI to FM corresponding to each part of scenes via control data corresponding to the scenes from a memory circuit 4, computes fade progress data changing with the passage of time. The result of the computation is supplied to a permission signal generation circuit 23 and no permission signal is generated for the part still under fade operation. As a result, the contents of a channel/part conversion circuit 22, a start level data buffer 24, an end level data buffer 25 are not changed even when a scene changes to a next scene, while fade operation subsequent to the previous scene continues. According to the aforesaid construction, it becomes easy to input data related to dimmer control and operational quality is improved. In addition, a group under fade operation is not influenced by other groups, thereby enhancing the dignity of a lighting effect. |
