Lens-element mfr. for optical fibre end - adjusting centring-element to lens body by measuring light intensity behind element
摘要
The lens-element consists of a lens body (1) and a centering-element (2) with a hole (3). The centering-element (2) is adjusted to the lens body (1) by coupling parallel light into the lens body (1) and measuring the light-intensity behind the centering-element (2). The centring-element (2) is then fixed to the lens-body (10). The end of an optical fibre can then be inserted into the lens-element and is already adjusted to the optical axis of the lens body (1) without any further measures needing to be taken. ADVANTAGE - Lens-element enables optical fibre-end to be inserted into lens-element with accurate centering without any adjustment.
