PURPOSE:To eliminate a waiting time for deposit withdrawal by registering a request for money payment by telephone reservation, and receiving cash only by inserting a card into a cash dispenser. CONSTITUTION:A money paying device consists of a card reader 10, a document issuing machine 11 and a note discharging machine 12 as different bodies. A user calls a telephone set 7 by using a push-button telephone set and then presses a push button of the push-button telephone set to sent a number signal. On receiving the signal, the money paying device side sends information on operation guidance to the user's telephone set and the user inputs an account number, the secret number of a card, and the amount of money to be paid. The data are sent to a head-office device through a circuit control part 8 to discriminate whether the payment is enabled or not. When the payment is possible, the head- office side updates a center file and a clocking device 13 calculates a payment time limit to register the account number, etc., in a table, thereby letting the user know that the payment is allowed. Then, the user inserts the card into the reader 10 to receive the cash. |
