<p>PURPOSE:To easily measure a temperature with a simple constitution by making the temperature characteristics of the oscillation frequency of a quartz resonator connected to one crystal oscillating circuit linear. CONSTITUTION:The temperature characteristic of a quartz resonator 13 is in the temperature range from -40 to 125 deg.C and approximately linear. For the temperature measurement, a high-speed quartz resonator 13 having a large temperature coefficient is operated, and when the oscillation frequency of the high-speed quartz resonator is measured by a counter 17, for example, for one sec. obtained from a low-speed quartz resonator 12 having a small temperature coefficient, the temperature can be easily obtained from the counted number. In such a way, when the temperature coefficient of the low-speed quartz resonator 12 cannot be ignored on a temperature measurement accuracy in comparison to the temperature coefficient of the high-speed quartz resonator 13, the temperature coefficient of the low-speed quartz resonator 12 is stored beforehand, it is corrected by a calculation, and the necessary accuracy can be obtained. Thus, the temperature measurement can be easily executed with the simple constitution.</p> |
