The circuit output stage (A, B; B, C) supplies either a current drain, or a current source signal. A control terminal (11) connects an externally supplied control signal, coacting with the input and output stage for generating the current source signal in response to appearance of the control signal. The connection is carried out when a first input terminal (30A) is positive w.r.t. the second input terminal (32C). A current drain signal is generated in response to the control signal, when the second input terminal is positive w.r.t. to the first input terminal.
