A plurality of separate air ducts are provided within a window-defroster nozzle. The entrance apertures of the air ducts lie downstream of a reducing damper and are arranged in such a manner that when the reducing damper is virtually completely closed some of the remaining air flow passes into these air ducts. In these ducts, the air flow, on the one hand, maintains a required minimum speed and, on the other hand, it is guided in a directed manner to the respectively required region, for example to the window-wiper system. Using their outer surface the ducts act as guide elements and distribute the air flow passing into the nozzle.
