摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate a push-to-start shock due to a low speed gear shift, having large gear ratio, at very low speed of an engine and remove uncomfortableness, by providing a fuel cut control circuit, engine restarting circuit and duration decision circuit in a fuel controller. CONSTITUTION:In case of deceleration of an automobile, when a gear shift is changed from 5-speed to 4-speed or from 4-speed to 3-speed, supply of fuel to an engine is left in a cut off state, and fuel can be effectively saved by the action of so-called engine brake, as a result the fuel can be more effectively saved than in an automobile not performed with a fuel cut. While at change of a gear shift from 3-speed to 2-speed, a condition of a fuel cut control circuit 37 is not met, if speed of the engine is decreased, an engine restarting circuit 52 outputs a restarting signal. Accordingly, the engine is supplied with the fuel and restarted by a restarting means. In this way, a push-to-start due to a low speed side gear shift is never caused in a very low speed or stopped state.
