The solution concerns a method of production of a catalyser based on a complex oxide, mainly on Mo-Bi oxides in the way that compounds, which are the source of the separate elements, are integrated into a mixture in a water system and subsequently the water system is heat-treated by addition of a source of bismuth, a complex bismuth carbonate, containing a) Bi and Na or b) Bi, Na and X or c) Bi and X, while this compound provides for at least one fifth of the required amount of Na and/or X at origination of a catalyser of general formula Moa Bib Coc Nid Fee - Naf Xg Yh Zi Sij Ok, where X means Mg, Ca, Zn, Ce and/or Sm, Y means K, Rb, Cs, and/or Tl, Z means B, P, As and/or W, a-k means atom ratios, where given that a equals 12, b equals 0.5 to 7, c equals 0 to 10, d equals 0 to 10, c + d equals 1 to 10, e equals 0.05 to 3, f equals 0.01 to 1, g equals 0 to 1, h equals 0.04 to 0.4, i equals 0 to 3, j equals 0 to 48 and k means a number that provides of the oxidation state of the other elements. During the heat treatment the mixture is heated to 450 to 650 degrees C on air. |
