The device comprises at least one elevator accommodated in a pit. The elevator comprises two sliders which can slide on fixed opposite guides and are connected by at least two platforms able to support at least one motor vehicle and by an overlying cover capable of moving, in the elevator lowest position, to the level of the paving which surrounds the pit. It rests on a ridge provided within a gutter provided at the perimeter of the cover to collect the rainwater which has fallen on the cover. The gutter is shaped so as to have a minimum width at the upper opening. |
