In a pipe connection, the special feature consists of an opposing bearing piece, which is fitted in the interior of the pipe to be connected and is provided with opposing bearing surfaces, and of a clamping device, provided on the outer side of the pipe, which has pressure surfaces which interact with the opposing bearing surfaces of the opposing bearing piece. In the process for manufacturing this pipe connection, an opposing bearing piece is fitted into the one end of the pipe to be connected and hence produces an outward bulge of the pipe, to which the clamping device is fitted. <IMAGE> |
