PURPOSE:To reduce cost by moving Cu or a Cu alloy and Pb or a Pb alloy previously compounded to a valve seat proper consisting of an Fe group sintering material through vacancies on a sintering and infiltrating and treating a valve contacting section formed by the Fe group sintering material by copper and lead. CONSTITUTION:Cu and Pb are compounded to Fe group compressed powder body sections as a valve seat proper after a sintering, and one kind or two kinds of P and Sn are compounded as required. On the other hand, one kind or two kinds of P and Sn are compounded similarly to Fe group compressed powder body sections as a contact layer for a valve after the sintering as necessary, and these double layer Fe group compressed powder bodies are sintered. Accordingly, Cu or a Cu alloy and Pb or a Pb alloy in a main body move into the Fe group compressed powder body sections as the contact section through vacancies capillarity, and the valve contact layer is changed into a copper-lead infiltrating layer being brought to an airtight state. |
