<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the jam due to double paper feed by connecting the first actuator for detecting the manual insertion and cassette paper feed and the second actuator for permitting or prohibiting manual paper feed, with an interlocking arm. CONSTITUTION:A cassette side paper feeding passage 6 and a manual insertion side paper feeding passage 8 converge at the upstream of a pair of transport rollers 19 and 20. A paper supplied from one passage is transported between the upper and lower guide plates 10 and 11 in pairs, and pushes up the first actuator Act 22, and is transported to a copying part 2 by a pair of rollers 12 and 13 through a shutter 14. The second Act 24 for opening and closing the manual insertion side paper feeding passage is installed, and the first and second Acts 22 and 24 are connected with an interlocking arm 25 and interlocked. During the cassette paper feed, the second Act 24 cuts off the manual insertion side paper feeding passage 8. When manual paper feed is started, the second Act 24 retreats, and the first Act 22 turns to turn ON a switch 29, and a control part judges manual insertion. Therefore, jam due to double paper feed is prevented.</p> |
