PURPOSE: To make a housing assembly possible to conduct airtight sealing in high temperature and under high pressure by supporting a malleable annular seal flange extending between the abutting faces of two end portion flanges with one side of two flanges, interposing the step portion of the malleable annular flange in a slit. CONSTITUTION: Plural bolts or screws are inserted into the holes 38, 40, 42, 44 of a flange 34, and are screwed to the paths with thread ridge 70, 71, 72, 73 of a flange 24. The bolts or the screws interposed in the hole 38, 40, 42, 44 are provided with malleable flanges 16 so as to hold the stepped portions 26 in slits 36, the flanges 16 are compressed between the slits 36 and the step portions, and as a result a space between the slits and the step portions are annularly blocked by the flanges 16 so as to airtightly seal a separable housing 12 against a permanent housing 14. The holes 38, 40, 42 44 are formed so as to accept the plural bolts extending toward the path walls with thread ridge 70, 71 72, 73. When the plural bolts are screwed into the paths with thread ridge, the adjacent portion of the flanges 16 are thrust into the slits 36 of the permanent housing 14 by the stepped portions 26 so that airtight sealing is achieved. |
