PURPOSE:To reproduce a time code precisely even if the traveling speed of a tape is sharply changed by using an ordinary winding type head as a recording head and using a magnetic flux responce type head as a reproducing head. CONSTITUTION:A time code recording signal 11 is recorded in a recording head 4 through a recording amplifier 12. A reproducing head 5 is arranged on a position separated by l=na, n frames, from the recording head 4. The numeral of a time code 14 reproduced through a reproducing head 3 and a reproducing amplifier 5 is less than that of the position of the recording head 4 by n frames. Since the time code is generally defined to be recorded/reproduced with the same head as mentioned above, constant n set up with a constant setter 16 is added to the reproducing time code 14 whose value is less than that of the recording head by n frames through an adder 15 to make up a final reproducing time code 17. |
