<p>PURPOSE:To improve a degree of easy handling, by a method wherein each shaft of golf clubs is so formed that the shorter the shaft is in length, the heavier the shaft becomes in weight. CONSTITUTION:For a set S of golf clubs a shaft 12 of each of iron clubs 3i, 5i, 9i is formed form a hollow pipe. They are l1, l2, l3 in length, respectively; and pipe walls are t1, t2, t3 in thickness, respectively. In length there is a relationship of l1>l2>l3 among them, and in thickness there is a relationship of t1<t2<3 among their pipe walls. In this way, for a set S of the golf clubs, the shaft 12 of each of the iron clubs 3i, 5i, 9i is so formed that the shorter the shaft is in length, the heavier the shaft becomes in weight. In this way, a set of the golf clubs having a character that the shorter the shaft is, the more inflexible it becomes, and the longer the shaft is, the more flexible it becomes, can be obtained. Furthermore, a ball is easy to be raised with the golf club of a longer shaft, and a shot can be struck in good direction with the golf club of a shorter shaft.</p> |
