The invention relates to a vibration-damping metal/rubber bearing, e.g. for bearings for engines and machinery. The essential feature of this invention consists in the fact that the bearing has an active actuator which is connected in front of it or behind it and can be open-loop or closed-loop controlled with respect to the actual source of the vibrations (e.g. engine).
