The stereophonic sound reproduction system operated in a Dolby (RTM) mode has the two input stereo channels coupled to a processor circuit (1). Outputs are made to a pair of forward loud-speakers (24L, 24R) and a pair of rear loud-speakers (25L, 25R), together with a centre loud-speaker (26C). With the exception of the rear right and centre speakers, all units are fed directly from drive amplifiers (21, 22, 23). A switch (4) allows signals to be selected that is gated through a second switch to either of the two speakers (25R, 26C). ADVANTAGE - Allows changeover between reproduction modes.
