<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a nozzle from being clogged by using an ink the viscosity of which is adjusted to be a specific value by a coloring matter insoluble in water when said nozzle of a specific diameter is used for ink-jet printing. CONSTITUTION:Any of the continuous jet model, intermittent jet model, on- demand type and ink mist type apparatuses may be employed as the ink-jet painting apparatus. However, the nozzle diameter, namely, the diameter of a front end of the nozzle should be 20-150mu. The coloring matter has 90% or higher grading distribution of the grain size 0.2mu or smaller, which is an ink not containing grains of the size not smaller than 0.3mu at all. Particularly, it is preferable that the grain distribution of the grain size 0.05-0.1mu is 95% or more, and grains of the size 0.2mu or larger are never contained. The viscosity of the ink solution is preferably 1.1-10cps, particularly, 1.1-4cps.</p> |
