PURPOSE:To prevent the back-impression of an ink printed on a back, by a method wherein a heat sensitive color forming layer is provided on one surface of a metal vapor deposition film and a heat meltable ink layer is provided on the opposite surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:A heat sensitive color forming layer with a thickness of about 5-10mum is provided on a film obtained by subjecting a base film with a thickness of about 8-30mum to vapor deposition processing to form a layer comprising a metal such as aluminum with a thickness of about 300-400Angstrom thereon. As a heat meltable ink layer, a wax type carbon ink with a m.p. of about 50-80 deg.C is used. About the hardness of the ink layer, if said ink layer is too soft, it becomes easily stainable while, if too hard, edge sharpness in printing becomes bad. The heat meltable ink layer is provided to the opposite surface of the film with respect to the heat sensitive color forming layer in a thickness of about 4- 5mum. By providing the vapor deposition layer on one surface of the base film, the back impression of an ink being printed on the back of the paper is prevented and printing on the heat sensitive color forming surface is made sharp in appearance. |
