PURPOSE:To vary flow rate without degradation of the drive motor efficiency by providing a heater extended in the direction of the shaft axis of a flow- through impeller on a rear guider. CONSTITUTION:As the flow-through impeller 2 is driven at a constant number of revolutions n with the heater 8 activated by turning on the control switch, upward air current is produced as indicated by the arrow C near the heater 8 as the heater 8 warms up. Therefore, fluid becomes hard to flow through the impeller 2 near the heater 8 so that the fluid flow B1 alters to the fluid flow D1 and the flow B2 also alters to the flow D2 after the flow D1. Therefore, an absolute value of the maximum value in the efficiency 7-flow rate Q characteristic under the heater 8 activated remains almost the same but shifting of the peak point. |
