The joint in a plastered facade is sealed by first inserting a protruding foam inlay (3) into the joint (1). The basic rendering (4) is then applied to the masonry (2) flush with the protruding inlay, followed by a rubber-elastic sealing strip (6) adhering to the top. Finally the finish rendering (7) is applied, leaving the middle portion of the sealing strip over the joint without plaster. ADVANTAGE - Improved, lasting joint seal.
