PURPOSE:To constitute a buckle for a belt and a watch in one body and thereby to make a wrist and the watch free from each other, by providing openably a front cover covering the front surface of the base plate of the main body of the buckle, and by providing a small-sized watch on the inner surface of the front cover or on the surface of the base plate. CONSTITUTION:A connecting mechanism 4 and a tightening mechanism 5 are provided at the back of the base plate 3 of the main body 1 of a buckle which constitutes an insertion path 2 through which a belt (a) is inserted, while a front cover 6 is provided on the front surface of the base plate 3 in such a manner that it can be opened at an angle of about 90 deg. through the intermediary of a hinge mechanism 7 and that it is actuated constantly in the closing direction by a spring 8. When the front cover 6 is opened, a small-sized watch 18 provided on the inner surface of the front cover 6 appears, and thus the time can be seen therefrom. By this constitution, the watch is made free from a wrist, while the wrist is made free from unpleasant feeling due to sweating at high temperature, etc., and also the lifetime of the watch can be prolonged. |
