PURPOSE:To provide excellent properties to be possessed by a polypropylene foam, favorable mold processability and excellent tenacity, by specifying the mold processability and a rate of thermal dimensional change by compounding specific wt% of polypropylene resin and polyethylene resin. CONSTITUTION:A sheetlike foam is comprised of 90-10wt.% polypropylene and 10-90wt.% polyethylene and mold processability H/L and rates of thermal dimensional changes Sm, St and Sz satisfy the following formula respectively. H/L > 0.60-10 < Sm < -40-5 < St < -2020 < Sz < 40. In the formula, the H, L are respectively a draw depth and draw diameter at the time of molding and the Sm, St and Sz are respectively the rates of the lengthwise, widthwise and thicknesswise thermal dimensional changes (%) obtained when the foam is kept under 160 deg.C for 30 minutes. With this construction, a sheetlike foam provided with excellent properties to be possessed by the polypropylene foam, favorable mold processability and tenacity is obtained. |
