Device for measuring the concentration of ions in the air contains a flow tube with a fan in a pocket-sized housing. In the flow tube, connected to a constant voltage source, there are electrodes onto which ions are deflected when the fan is switched on. The charging current thus produced is amplified and displayed on a liquid crystal display. In addition to the display, there are on the housing of the device further display LEDs, which show the respective operating mode of the device. <IMAGE>
