<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts by making of ceramic, both an inner race having a shaft hole provided with an elastic body formed on its circumferential surface and an outer race which rotatably accommodates the inner race in order to securely hold the shaft even if the tolerance of the shaft hole is large. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic bearing A comprises an inner race 1 having a shaft hole 4 on whose inner circumference an elastic body layer 5 of synthetic resin and so forth is formed and a convex curved surface 1a is formed on the outer circumference, and the outer race 2 having a concave curved surface 2c with its inner circumferential surface fitted to the convex curved surfaces 1a and half bodies 6 and 7 formed thereon by fixing. When the journal B1 of a shaft B is engaged with the shaft hole 4, the elastic body layer 5 is elastically deformed and firmly holes the shaft. Therefore, even if a tolerance of the shaft hole 4 becomes large, firm engagement is obtained. Also, the number of parts is reduced and a resultant load F consisting of a thrust load Fs and a radial load Fr can be supported by the curved surface 2c.</p> |
