PURPOSE:To form various spheres having different radii on a work by changing the intersecting angle between the main axis of a tool and the main axis of a work supporter. CONSTITUTION:When the finish radius of a sphere formed on a work is changed, clamps bolts 21, 35 are loosened and the handle 30 is operated so that the tool supporting devide 17 is revolved centering around the revolving axis 27. The tool main axis driving motor 34 also is revolved with said device. Thereafter, clamp bolts 51, 52 are loosened, the revolving block 42 is revolved by operating the knob 50 to move the work supporting head 5 up to the forward end of the notch. Hereafter, the bolts 51, 52 are clamped again to fix the block 42 to the supporting block 40. Accordingly, a sphere havig uniform peripheral thickness is formed on the work W. |
